For the sweetness, we couldn’t resist the thought of a peach cobbler. What better place to try one than at the Peach Cobbler Factory – and it did not disappoint. We chose a flight of four flavors and mixed it up by choosing two cobbler flavors – peach cobbler and cinnamon praline peach cobbler – and two banana puddings – Butterfinger banana pudding and bourbon pecan banana pudding. No surprise to us that we liked, no loved, the cobblers best.

Barbara: It’s nice living in an area that hosts so many fun activities. Last week I went with some friends to one of them – the Plano Wine and Art Walk. We checked in and received our map and a wine glass. Then we proceeded to all the shops in downtown Plano that were offering wine.

In one, I purchased a funny coaster (I’m a sucker for them)

and in another we “shared some wine” with Jake from Allstate.

Unfortunately not much art was displayed so we finished up by going into Better Than Sex Desserts to have a s’mores cheesecake slice. Was the store title accurate? We won’t say but the dessert was pretty darn good.

We’re postponing R due to a month of relatives and rehab. Catch you in October.
