DETROIT DEJA VU

How lucky were we to have great seats to watch the fabulous musical Ain’t Too Proud: The Life and Times of THE TEMPTATIONS! We were looking forward to stirring up feelings of nostalgia as we headed off to Dallas to watch this Tony Award winning Broadway play. But we never expected to be totally blown away by the fine quality and magnitude of the story, the music, the dancing and acting. We learned so much about this group. The Temptations were in their heyday in Detroit, back in the 60s and 70s, and we grew up enjoying their music and not really paying attention to their unfolding history. So, the story of how they became a group and all the changes, friendships, struggles and obstacles they lived through was fascinating and stirred up lots of feelings. So glad we went!
